Reid is a CIA field assassin nicknamed 'The Dark Assassin' by Deputy Director Rivera, who has spent his last few months stacking Mexican cartel corpses south of the border. Fresh off knife-killing the narco Gus outside a Nogales cantina, he gets vectored into the Arizona desert by Michelle's unauthorized order, links up with Sam Harper to recover Daniel Vasquez, and impersonates Mexican Captain Morales to control the cartel handoff.
