Mike Drake
Mike Drake (USA, Retired)
Mike Drake is a thirty-eight-year-old retired four-tour Army veteran who mustered out of service three weeks before the story begins, declining a $150,000 reenlistment bonus because he has had enough of split-second life and death decisions. Driving a new silver Hyundai Sonata along a rural city street, he witnesses a Native American police sergeant being shot during what should have been a routine traffic stop and uses the front bumper of his car to take down the shooter at 40 mph. He is a new father to twin girls and lives on his savings and pension.
