Gabriela

Gabriela is a seven-year-old Guatemalan girl found abandoned in the desert with her four-year-old brother near Ali Chuk on the Tohono O'odham reservation, scheduled for transport to the Virgen de Asuncion state orphanage in Guatemala City. Already her brother's stand-in mother, she becomes Maria's first foster child after the highway rescue.
