Edmond

Edmond is Pierre's adopted son and a junior Agence de Sécurité officer, eighteen years and seven days old, working his first arrests on the I-11 toll road and around the Francisco Grande hotel. Beneath his uniform he wears a large silver cross on a chain, a lingering symbol of the trauma he survived as the infant pulled from the rubble of the Paris raid that killed his birth parents. As the novel unfolds he is revealed to be the cyber-stalker behind the autocab attack on Evie Martin, weaponizing autonomous vehicles and hospital networks against the woman he blames for his family's death.
